1. What is the limit on engraving on aluminum cards?
To prevent distortion in the design, the engraving should be less than 0.25 mm deep.
2. Can the engraving aluminum business card plates be heated or soldered?
Base materials such as brass and aluminum can be heated. Discoloration may vary when heating so you may need to protect the material and polish it after. Testing the material first is important before proceeding to mass production.
3. How heavy are the aluminum cards?
For 100pcs of metal cards, it roughly weighs about 4lbs. Standard card weight may change if the card has cut- through design.
4. Is it possible to have a unique variable on each aluminum cards?
Variable data is possible. Usually, variable data is applied using laser engraving. You can let us know during the design submission.
5. Can I make different shapes for my aluminum cards?
Yes, you can have a unique card shape for as long as it passes our standard sizing of 85mmx54mm. Smooth/round corners are highly recommended.
Using the standard size of 85mm x 54mm, we can cut almost any shape you can think of. We recommend smooth/rounded corners because the cards can become sharp.
