FAQs & Ultimate Guide
1. Can I print a picture of myself in full color on my anodized business card?
Absolutely! On all cards, we offer a full-color digital print option.
2. What size metal business cards are most frequently used?
Business cards are typically 3.5 inches by 2 inches in size. (89mmx51mm). Although this is the size that our customers prefer most, if you intend to keep them in a wallet, we suggest the European/Credit Card Standard (85mmx54mm). Custom sizes and shapes are possible, but keep in mind that we will always round the edges with a small radius.
3. What distinguishes plating from anodizing?
In the process of electroplating, one metal is electrochemically bonded to the surface in place of another. Using oxidation to deposit a layer of metal on the surface of another object, anodizing is an electro-passivity process. Black, white, red, blue, cyan and coffee are the anodize pools that are currently set up. Any color is possible for these metallic layers.
4. How much do the anodized aluminum cards weigh?
Less than one ounce per card, the cards weigh approximately 4 lbs for a 100-card set. Even less weight will be added to cards with lots of cut-through areas.
5. I have no artwork available, can I use the picture that I saved from Google?
Pictures that are grabbed from the internet will show grainy and blurry. We encourage you to have your original designs sent to us via original file. If no artwork is available, you can share your ideas with us and our designers will help you create an authentic design.
